Cartofi taranesti cu carnati / Rustic potatoes with sausages


Ingrediente / ingredients:
- cartofi - potatoes
- carnati afumati - Smoked sausages
- un ardei kapia - A red pepper
- o legatura de ceapa verde - A bunch of green onions
- 4 catei de usturoi - 4 cloves of garlic

Cartofii ii taiem cubulete, adaugam sare si piper si 3-4 linguri de ulei de masline.

Ciorba de purcel / Pork Soup



Ingrediente / ingredients:

- leustean - lovage
- pasta de tomate - Tomato paste

Fierbem oasele si carnea.

Scoatem oasele, si adaugam legumele taiate cubulete.

Dupa ce au fiert legumele, adaugam cartofii cubulete si pasta de tomate.

Lasam sa fiarba cartofii si adaugam pastele si mazarea. La final adaugam leusteanul tocat marunt.

Carne de porc cu ciuperci si masline / Pork meat with mushrooms and olives


Ingrediente / ingredients:

- patrunjel - parsley
- suc de rosii - Tomato juice
- o ceapa rosie - A red onion
- o ceapa alba - A white onion
- un ardei rosu kapia - A red pepper Kapia
- 2-3 catei de usturoi - 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 100 ml vin alb - 100 ml white wine

Inabusim carnea de porc, fara a o praji.

Ciupercile le taiem felii, dar nu foarte subtiri. Le punem intr-o tigaie si le lasam pana isi lasa toata apa din ele.

Chec cu mere / Apple Cake


Ingrediente / ingredients:
- 4 mere - 4 apples
- unt - butter
- o cana de faina - A cup of flour
- o cana de zahar - A cup of sugar
- 4 oua - 4 eggs
- o lingurita praf de copt - A teaspoon of baking powder
- o esenta de vanilie - A vanilla
- 5 linguri de apa - 5 tablespoons water
- 5 linguri de ulei - 5 tablespoons of oil
- scortisoara - cinnamon

Curatam merele de coaja, si le scoatem cotorul. In fiecare mar punem cate un cub de unt si o lingurita de zahar. Le dam la cuptor pana se rumenesc frumos.

Dupa vreo 15 minute, la foc mic, am adaugam cateva feliute de mar peste care am presarat putin zahar si scortisoara.

Salam de biscuiti cu nuca / Biscuits baton with nuts


Ingredients / ingredients:
- 500 g biscuiti populari - 500 g biscuits
- 250 ml lapte - 250 ml milk
- 100 g ciocolata - 100 g chocolate
- 3 linguri cu zahar - 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 100 g miez de nuca - 100 g walnuts
- 3 linguri de cacao - 3 tablespoons of cocoa
- o esenta de rom - A rum
- 100 g unt - 100 g butter
- nuca de cocos - Coconut

Biscuitii ii rupem in bucati si ii punem intr-un castron mai adanc.

Miezul de nuca il punem la prajit intr-o tigaie.

Punem laptele la incalzit, adaugam ciocolata , zaharul si cacao. Amestecam bine pana se dizolva zaharul si se topeste ciocolata. La sfarsit adaugam untul.

Punem peste biscuiti nuca, 2-3 linguri de nuca de cocos, esenta de rom si laptele. Amestecam bine.

Impartim compozitia in 2 si formam cate un baton din fiecare parte. Presaram nuca de cocos peste batonul format si il bagam in folie de plastic. Il lasam la frigider aproximativ 2 ore, pana se intareste.

Divide mixture in half. We form each a stick. Sprinkle coconut on top and stuffing it in plastic. Leave it in the refrigerator about 2 hours until firm.

Supa crema de legume / Cream of Vegetable Soup


Ingrediente / ingredients:
- 2 cartofi - 2 potatoes
- un ardei kapia - A bell peppers
- un pastarnac - A parsnip
- o telina mica - A little celery
- un dovlecel - A pumpkin
- 2 cepe mari - 2 large onions
- 2 morcovi - 2 carrots
- 2 catei de usturoi - 2 cloves of garlic
- smantana - cream

Legumele le taiem cuburi si le punem sa fiarba.

Cut Vegetables into cubes and put them to boil.


Dupa ce au fiert legumele, le scurgem si le pasam.

After boiled vegetables, drain them and put them in the blender.


Cu zeama de la legume, diluam crema obtinuta, pana la consistenta dorita.

The remaining juice from boiled vegetables, dilute the cream until desired consistency.



Adaugam sare si piper dupa gust si se serveste fierbinte cu smantana.

Add salt and pepper to taste and serve hot with sour cream.

Papanasi cu dulceata de fructe de padure / Fried cheese dumplings with berry jam


            Tot am cautat o reteta de papanasi si am gasit numai retete complicate sau care nu ies, asa ca prietena mea Delia , mi-a dat aceasta reteta simpla care iese garantat, si pentru care ii multumesc pe aceasta cale. Eu am preferat sa fac rapid un sos din fructe de padure (nu aveam in casa dulceata de fructe de padure), si a iesit o nebunie.

          All Fried cheese dumplings recipe i found was complicated  or do not go, so my friend Delia, gave me this simple recipe that comes guaranteed, and for that I thank this way.  I chose to make a quick berry sauce (I did not have sweetness of berries), and went crazy.

Ingrediente / ingredients:

- 200 g branza de vaci scursa bine - 200 g cheese drained well
- un ou - An egg
- o lingurita de praf de copt - eu am gasit in combinatie cu sofran, dar merge si simplu - A teaspoon of baking powder - I found in combination with saffron, but it goes without saffron
- faina - eu am pus dupa consistenta aluatului  - Flour
- 2 pliculete de zahar vanilat - 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
- smanatana - cream
- dulceata de fructe de padure - berry jam

Intr-un castron punem branza de vaci, zaharul vanilat, oul, praful de copt si faina. Nu punem multa faina. Trebuie sa iasa un aluat nelipicios si care se modeleaza bine.

In a bowl put cheese, vanilla, egg, baking powder and flour. Do not put a lot of  flour. Have to make a soft dough that is not sticky and good shape.


Framantam bine pana iese un aluat numai bun de modelat.

Knead well until dough just comes good shape.


Eu mi-am uns varfurile degetelor cu ulei si am modelat papanasii. Cercuri si bile.

Incingem uleiul foarte bine si asezam formele in tigaie. Ca sa se patrunda bine, lasam la foc mic.

Dupa ce s-au prajit pe o parte ii intoarcem. Ii scoatem pe un prosop absorbant pentru a se scurge surplusul de ulei.

Ne avand dulceata de fructe de padure, am facut eu un sos din fructe de padure, 2 linguri de zahar si 3 picaturi de zeama de lamaie. Lasam la foc mic pana scade.

Cat sunt inca fierbinti, turnam o lingura de smantana peste papanasi si dulceata din belsug. Se servesc imediat!
