Cotlet de porc cu salvie si cidru de mere / Pork Chops with sage and Apple Cider Glaze


Ingrediente / ingredients:

- 2 kg carne de porc - 2 kg of pork 
- 1 l de cidru de mere sec - 1 l of dry apple cider
- 500 g ciuperci de padure  - 500 g of forest mushrooms 
- o capatana de usturoi - a garlic clove
- salvie - sage
- unt - butter
- ulei de masline - olive oil
- sare si piper dupa gust - salt and pepper to taste

Pentru inceput topim o lingurita de unt cu 2-3 linguri de ulei de masline si 2-3 frunze de salvie.

We melt a teaspoon of butter with 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil and 2-3 leaves of sage.



Adaugam carnea si o lasam pe fiecare parte pana se rumeneste putin.

Add the meat and leave it on each side until it gets a little brown.


Dupa ce am terminat carnea, in sosul ramas adaugam ciupercile, usturoiul, sare si piper dupa gust. Le lasam 3-4 minute.

After we have finished the meat, add the mushrooms, garlic, salt and pepper to taste in the remaining sauce. We let them 3-4 minutes.


Turnam ciupercile peste carne, iar deasupra punem cidru.

We poured the mushrooms over the meat, and on top we put cider.


Se lasa la cuptor o ora, o ora si jumatate.

Leave in the oven one hour, an hour and a half.


Se serveste calda cu garnitura de ciuperci.

Serve warm with mushroom garnish.
