Spata de porc cu 5 condimente chinezesti / Chinese Five Spice Pork Chops



Aceasta reteta este ideala pentru pranzul de duminica sau cand aveti musafiri.

This recipe is ideal for Sunday lunch or when you have guests.


Ingrediente / ingredients:

- 1 kg carne de porc - 1 kg of pork
- 1 kg de cartofi - 1 kg of potatoes
- o capatana de usturoi - a garlic clove
- 3-4 frunza de salvie - 3-4 leaf of sage
- 300 ml vin alb - 300 ml of white wine
- ulei de masline - olive oil
- 500 g ciuperci  - 500 g of mushrooms
- o lingurita de 5 condimente chinezesti - a teaspoon of 5 Chinese spices
- sare - salt
- cimbru - thyme


Pentru inceput rumenim carnea in ulei de masline. O transferam intr-o tava, o frecam cu condimentele chinezesti pe ambele parti , adaugam usturoi, sare , frunzele de salvie si vinul. O lasam la marinat cel putin 12 ore sau peste noapte.

We begin with, brown the meat in olive oil. We transfer it to a tray, rub it with Chinese spices on both sides, add garlic, salt, sage leaves and wine. I let her marinate for at least 12 hours or over night.


O bagam la cuptor acoperita cu un capac sau cu folie de aluminiu. Dupa o ora adaugam cartofii intregi sau jumatati. Presaram cimbru si sare pe cartofi. Mai lasam o ora si adaugam ciupercile intregi. La fiecare ora intoarcem carnea pe partea cealalta . In ultimele 10 minute, am scos capacul si am dat drumul la grill .

Bake covered with a lid or aluminum foil. After one hour i add the potatoes. Spread thyme and salt on potatoes. Leave it for an hour and add the mushrooms. After every hour i turn the meat on the other side. In the last 10 minutes, I removed the lid and put it under the grill.


Asa am obtinut un fel de mancare delicios, cu garnitura alaturi si totul preparat intr-un singur vas.

So I got a delicious dish with garnish  and everything prepared in a single pot.
