Pandispan cu capsuni / Strawberries Sponge Cake



Ingrediente / ingredients:
- 8 oua - 8 eggs
- 2 cani de faina - 2 cups of flour
- 2 cani de zahar - 2 cups sugar
- 8 linguri de ulei - 8 tablespoons oil
- 2 esente de vanilie - 2 vanilla
- un praf de copt - Baking powder
- 3 linguri de apa - 3 tablespoons water
- 1 kg capsuni - 1 kg strawberries


Separam galbenusurile de albusurile. Batem albusurile spuma tare cu un praf de sare.
Facem un sirop din zahar si apa. Lasam la foc mic pana se topeste tot zaharul. Turnam in fir subtire siropul fierbinte peste albusuri si continuam sa mixam pana incorporam tot siropul.

Separate egg yolks from white eggs. Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt.
We make a syrup of sugar and water. We leave to simmer until all the sugar melts. Pour the hot syrup over egg whites and continue mixing to incorporate all the syrup.




Frecam galbenusurile pana se albesc. Adaugam uleiul si esenta de vanilie.

Mixing the yolks to blanch. Add oil and vanilla.




Turnam galbenusurile peste albusuri, adaugam faina si praful de copt.

Pour over egg whites the yolks, add flour and baking powder.



Tapetam o tava cu hartie de copt si turnam compozitia.
Spalam bine capsunile si le taiem in 2 sau 4 , depinde cat de mari sunt, daca sunt micute se pot pune si intregi. Le punem deasupra compozitiei.

Put baking paper on a tray and pour composition.
Wash thoroughly strawberries and cut them into 2 or 4, depending on how big they are, if they are tiny you  can put whole.  Put above the composition.



Lasam la cuptor la foc mica pana trece testul scobitorii.

We leave on small fire in the oven until toothpick test passes.



Lasam prajitura sa se raceasca in tava si apoi o putem portiona.
