Pateu de pui si rata / Chicken & Duck Pâté



Ingrediente / ingredients:

- 500 g ficatei de pui - 500 g chicken liver
- 500 g carne de rata - 500 grams of duck meat
- 50 ml smantana - 50 ml of sour cream
- 100 g unt - 100 g butter
- 2 cepe - 2 onions
- 3 catei de usturoi - 3 cloves of garlic
- 100 ml vin alb - 100 ml white wine
- o lingurita de cimbru uscat  - a teaspoon of dry thyme


Ficateii ii punem la prajit in 2 linguri de ulei. Dupa ce si-au schimbat culoarea , adaugam ceapa , usturoiul, cimbrul si vinul. Ii lasam la foc mic pana se patrund bine.

The liver is fried in 2 tablespoons of oil. After they have changed color, add onions, garlic, thyme and wine. I'll let them down until they get through well.


Carnea de rata o fierbem bine cu 2-3 frunze de dafin, sare si piper boabe. O bagam la robot si o tocam. Adaugam ficateii.

Bol the duck meat  with 2-3 leaves of bay, salt and pepper grains. Put it in to the blender. We're adding the liver.


Adaugam smantana si  untul si lasam la blender pana obtinem o pasta fina.

Add sour cream and butter and leave the blender until we get a fine paste.


Se lasa 2-3 ore la rece inainte de servire.

Let to cool for 2-3 hours before serving.
