Oua in purgatoriu / Eggs in Purgatory

Ingrediente / ingredients:
- 2 oua - 2 eggs
- 2-3 catei de usturoi - 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 2-3 linguri de ulei de masline - 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
- rosii tocate marunt - Chopped tomatoes
- sare si piper dupa gust - Salt and pepper to taste

In uleiul de masline calim usturoiul pisat.

Pour the olive oil into a frying pan, then grate  the garlic.

Adaugam rosiile, sare si piper si lasam sa fiarba. Cand sosul fierbe, adaugam ouale.

Add the tomatoes, stir in the salt, and let it come to a bubble. It’s got to be hot enough to poach an egg in.

Acoperim cu un capac si lasam sa fiarba pana se fac ouale.

Cover with a lid and let it simmer until the eggs are done.

Deasupra se poate rade parmesan dar eu le-am mancat asa, data viitoare incerc si cu parmesan.

If so wished sprinkled with a little Parmesan.
