Friganele



Friganele, mic dejunul copilariei noastre.

French pancakes, breakfast our childhood.

Ingrediente / Ingredients;

- 6 felii de paine - 6 slices of bread
- 2 oua - 2 eggs
- 250 ml lapte - 250 ml milk
- 50 g unt - 50 g butter

Feliile de paine se inmoaie in lapte se dau prin ou batut si se rumenesc in in unt topit la foc mic.

The slices of bread are soaked in milk,put in beaten egg and browned in melted butter in a small heat.


Se lasa 2-3 minute pe ambele parti pana se rumenesc frumos.

Fry for 2-3 minutes on both sides until nicely browned.

Pateu de pui si rata / Chicken & Duck Pâté



Ingrediente / ingredients:

- 500 g ficatei de pui - 500 g chicken liver
- 500 g carne de rata - 500 grams of duck meat
- 50 ml smantana - 50 ml of sour cream
- 100 g unt - 100 g butter
- 2 cepe - 2 onions
- 3 catei de usturoi - 3 cloves of garlic
- 100 ml vin alb - 100 ml white wine
- o lingurita de cimbru uscat  - a teaspoon of dry thyme


Ficateii ii punem la prajit in 2 linguri de ulei. Dupa ce si-au schimbat culoarea , adaugam ceapa , usturoiul, cimbrul si vinul. Ii lasam la foc mic pana se patrund bine.

The liver is fried in 2 tablespoons of oil. After they have changed color, add onions, garlic, thyme and wine. I'll let them down until they get through well.


Carnea de rata o fierbem bine cu 2-3 frunze de dafin, sare si piper boabe. O bagam la robot si o tocam. Adaugam ficateii.

Bol the duck meat  with 2-3 leaves of bay, salt and pepper grains. Put it in to the blender. We're adding the liver.


Adaugam smantana si  untul si lasam la blender pana obtinem o pasta fina.

Add sour cream and butter and leave the blender until we get a fine paste.


Se lasa 2-3 ore la rece inainte de servire.

Let to cool for 2-3 hours before serving.

Cascaval pane / Breaded Fried Cheese



Ingrediente / ingredients:

- 50 g faina - 50 g flour
- 200 g cascaval - 200 g cheese
- 100 g pesmet - 100 g breadcrumbs
- 2 oua - 2 eggs
- sare si piper - salt and pepper

Taiem cascavalul in felii groase. Pregatim cate un castron pentru faina, pesmet si oua.

Cut the cheese into thick slices. Prepare a bowl for flour, breadcrumbs and eggs.


Pentru inceput dam feliile de cascaval prin faina.

First give slices of cheese with flour.


Apoi prin oua.

Then through the eggs.


Apoi prin pesmet.

Then through the breadcrumbs.


Dupa pesmet il mai dam o data prin ou si iar pesmet.

After breadcrumbs,  through egg and breadcrumbs again.


Bucatile se tin la congelator pentru 10-15 minute apoi se prajesc in baie de ulei.

The pieces are kept in the freezer for 10-15 minutes and then fried in an oil bath.


Se servesc fierbinti cu orice garnitura preferata.

Serve hot with any favorite garnish.

Briose cu bacon / Bacon Cupcakes



Ingredinente / ingredients:

- 4 oua - 4 eggs
- 200 g bacon - 200 g bacon
- 150 ml ulei - 150 ml sunflower oil
- 180 ml iaurt grecesc - 180 ml Greek yogurt
- 300 g faina - 300 g flour
- 2 lingurite de praf de copt - 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 lingurita bicarbonat de sodiu - 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 200 g cascaval - 200 g cheese
- o lingurita de pudra de usturoi - 1 tsp garlic powder
- o lingurita de pudra de ceapa - 1 tsp onion powder
- masline - olives

Aceste briose sunt foarte simplu de facut . Amestecam toate ingredientele intr-un bol. Compozitia o asezam in forme si coacem aprox 15-20 minute la foc mic sau pana devin aurii. Se pot servi ca aperitiv calde sau reci.

These cupcakes are easy to make. We were mixing all the ingredients in a bowl. Put the composition in shapes and bake for about 15-20 minutes on low heat or until golden. Serve hot or cold as an appetizer.

Yufka cu carne tocata / Yufka with minced meat


Ingrediente / Ingredients:

- un pachet de foi yufka - a package of yufka sheets
- 500 g carne tocata de porc - 500 g of pork minced meat
- o ceapa - an onion
- 2 linguri de pasta de tomate - 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- o lingurita de praf de usturoi - a teaspoon of garlic powder
- o legatura de patrunjel - a bunch of parsley
- sare, piper si fulgi de ardei iute dupa gust  - salt, pepper and chilli peppers to taste
- mozzarela  - mozzarella

Pentru inceput pregatim carnea. O calim in 3-4 linguri de ulei de masline, adaugam ceapa, pasta de tomate  si condimentele. Mai lasam 2-3 minute , adaugam patrunjelul tocat si este gata.

First we prepare the meat. Fry it in 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil, add onion, tomato paste and spices. Let's leave it 2-3 minutes, add chopped parsley and it's ready.


Intindem foile yufka, adaugam carne si o felie de mozzarela.

In yufka, add meat and a slice of mozzarella.


Impaturim foile si le punem la prajit in baie de ulei.

Fold the sheets and fry them in an oil bath.


Le scoatem pe un servet absorbant pentru a elimina excesul de ulei.
Le servim calde cu ketchup.

Take them out on an absorbent cloth to remove excess oil.
Serve them hot with ketchup.

Pizza Cupckes


Ingrediente / ingredients:

- 3 oua - 3 eggs
- 120 ml ulei de masline - 120 ml olive oil
- 180 ml lapte - 180 ml of milk
- 110 g branza - 110 g of hard cheese
- 225 g faina - 225 g flour
- 2 lingurite de praf de copt - 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 lingurita bicarbonat de sodiu - 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of (baking) soda
- 75 g masline negre - 75 g of black olives
- 100 g parmezan - 100 g parmesan
- 2 linguri de ciuperci tocate marunt - 2 tablespoons of finely chopped mushrooms
- 50 g cascaval - 50 g of cheese
- 100 g salam afumat - 100 g smoked salami
- oregano, sare si piper - oregano, salt and pepper


Pregatim ingredientele .

Prepare ingredients.


Amestecam bine ouale cu laptele, condimentele, bicarbonatul, praful de cop si faina.

Beat the egg with the oil, milk, condiments, baking powder, bicarbonate and flour until well mixed.


Amestecam toate ingredientele.

Mix all the ingredients.


Turnam compozitia in formele de cupcakes si coacem in cuptorul preincalzit la 180 grade Celsius cca 10-15 minute. Le testam cu o scobitoare.

Divide the mixture between the paper cases, then baked in the preaheat oven at 180 Celsius grade for 10-15 minutes.


Cand sunt gata, le scoatem si punem putin cascaval ras deasupra si mai dam la cuptor pana se topeste cascavalul - cca 1 minut.

When the cupcakes are ready, take them out and put some grated cheese over and cook until cheese melts - about 1 minutes.


Se servesc fierbinti dar sunt bune si reci ca un aperitiv.

Serve hot but they are good and cold as an appetizer.

Yufka cu branza / Yufka with cheese


Ingrediente / ingredients:

- un pachet de foi triunghiulare Yufka - A package of sheets Yufka triangular 
- 300 g branza de oaie - 300 g sheep cheese
- 50 de grame cascaval - 50 grams cheese
- 120 ml lapte - 120 ml of milk
- 2 oua - 2 eggs
- o legatura de marar  - A bunch of dill
- 50 g chimen - 50 g cumin
- o lingura de mac - A tablespoon of poppy

Am gasit aceste foi Yufka si mi s-au parut destul de interesante. Sunt foi subtiri, turcesti din care se pot face tot felul de placinte. Erau si dreptunghiulare, dar am luat triunghiulare si reteta este cea de pe pachet.

I found these  Yufka sheets and I thought were quite interesting. Are thinTurkish sheets  that can be use to make all kinds of pies. There were rectangular and triangular ,  I made  the recipe on the package.



Punem intr-un castron branza, 60 ml lapte, un ou, chimenul si mararul tocat marunt.

We put cheese in a bowl, add 60 ml milk, egg, cumin and chopped dill.



Separat amestecam 60 ml lapte si un ou. Cu acest amestec ungem "tigaretele".
Punem 1-2 lingurite din compozitie la baza triunghiului si rulam. Ungem cu putina apa rece varful si lipim.

Separately mix 60 ml milk and egg. With this mixture Brush "cigarettes".
Put 1-2 teaspoons of composition at the base of the triangle and roll. Brush top with some cold water and stick.



Le ungem cu compozitia de ou si lapte si deasupra presaram mac. Le dam la cuptor pentru 35 minute.

Brush them with egg and milk composition and sprinkle over poppy. We give them in the oven for 35 minutes.

Bruschete cu ton / Tuna Bruschetta




Ingrediente / ingredients:

- o bagheta - baguette
- o conserva de ton file - tuna fillets
- unt - butter

Taiem bagheta felii si o bagam 3-4 minute la cuptor pana se rumeneste.


Cut baguette in slices and stuffing in the oven for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.



Ungem feliile calde cu unt si adaugam ton.

Brush the warm slices with butter and add  tuna.


Putem adauga si cativa stropi de zeama de lamaie.

We can add a few drops of lemon juice.

Oua vopsite / Painted eggs for Easter



Anul acesta am avut un ajutor la ornatul oualor pentru Paste , fiica mea de 3 anisori (aproape ) .
Eu am fiert ouale, le-am vopsit cu vopsea de la Dr Oetker, sidefata iar fiica mea a lipit abtipilduri pe ele. A fost asa de incantata ca ma poate ajuta ..........si acum arata ouale tuturor musafirilor ....

Va doresc un Paste fericit si linistit alaturi de cei dragi!

This year i had help from ornate Easter eggs, my 3 year old daughter (almost).
I boiled the eggs, I painted with paint from Dr. Oetker, pearly and my daughter glued drawings with bunnies on them. It was so excited that she can help me .......... and now looks eggs to all guests ....

Crema de branza cu avocado / Cream cheese with avocado



Ingrediente / ingredients :

- 200 g branza de vaci - 200 g cheese
- un fir de ceapa verde - A green onion
- un avocado - An avocado
- 2 catei de usturoi - 2 cloves garlic
- sare si piper dupa gust - Salt and pepper to taste

Punem toate ingredientele intr-un castron.

Put all ingredients in a bowl.


Le pasam pana devine totul o crema.

Mix until it becomes a cream.


Se serveste cu paine prajita.

Pofta buna!


Serve with toast.

Oua umplute cu ton / Tuna-stuffed Eggs



Ingrediente / ingredients:
- 7 oua fierte tari - 7 boiled eggs 
- o lingura de unt - A tablespoon of butter 
- o cutie de ton in ulei - A can of tuna in oil 
- 2-3 linguri de maioneza - 2-3 tablespoons of mayonnaise 
- sare si piper dupa gust - Salt and pepper to taste 
- paprika iute sau dulce dupa gust  - Hot or sweet paprika to taste

Ouale se curata , se taie in doua si se scoate galbenusul. Se adauga untul, maioneza , tonul scurs foarte bine, sare si piper dupa gust. Se mixeaza bine.


 Clean the eggs, cut in half and remove yolks. Add butter, mayonnaise, well drained tuna, salt and pepper to taste. It mixes well.



Umplem albusurile cu crema obtinuta..

Fill the egg whites with the cream.


Deasupra adaugam putina paprika pentru un plus de gust.

On top add some paprika for extra flavor.

Paine aperitiv / Bread for All


Ingrediente / ingredients:

- 75 g masline verzi - 75 g green olives
- 75 g rosii uscate - 75 g dried tomatoes
- o lingura cimbru - A tablespoon thyme
- 150 g parmezan - 150 g Parmesan
- 350 g faina - 350 g flour
- 2 lingurite praf de copt - 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 lingurita bicarbonat de sodiu - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- o lingura de mustar - A tablespoon of mustard
- 2 oua - 2 eggs
- 300 ml lapte batut sau iaurt - 300 ml buttermilk or yogurt
- o ceapa - An onion
- marar - dill
- sunca - ham

Punem intr-un castron toate ingrediente: sunca se taie cubulete, rosiile si ceapa se toc marunt.

Put all ingredients in a bowl: ham cut into cubes, tomatoes and onion finely chop .


Amestecam totul bine, pana se formeaza o compozitie lipicioasa.

Stir well until it forms a sticky composition.


Punem compozitia intr-o tava unsa cu unt si tapetata cu faina. Deasupra mai punem cateva masline intregi si presaram putin cimbru.

Put mixture into a pan greased with butter and dusted with flour. On top we put some olive  and sprinkle a little thyme whole.


Lasam la cuptor pana se rumeneste frumos.

We leave in the oven until nicely browned.

Tzatiki


Ingrediente / ingredients:
- un iaurt grecesc - Greek yogurt
- 2-3 lingurite de smantana - 2-3 tablespoons of sour cream
- 1-2 catei de usturoi - 1-2 cloves of garlic
- o lingura de ulei de masline - A tablespoon of olive oil
- castravete - cucumber
- marar- dill


Intr-un castron punem iaurtul, smantana, mararul, uleiul, castravetele tocat marunt sau felii subtiri si usturoiul pisat.

In a bowl put yogurt, sour cream, dill, oil, chopped ​​cucumber or thinly sliced  and garlic.


Potrivim de sare si amestecam totul bine.

Add salt and mix everything well.


Se serveste ca sos sau ca garnitura. Mie imi vine sa-l mananc pe paine, asa de mult imi place.

Serve as a sauce or as a garnish.
